As a child, Justin enjoyed various outdoor activities but found a passion for landscaping while working on Saturday mornings with his dad, providing and maintaining improvements to their large suburban lot in North Tampa. Upon starting college at the University of South Florida, Justin created a landscape company that quickly grew to a business with five employees. After a couple of years, Justin realized his true passion for landscaping was in design and installation. Therefore, he enrolled at the University of Florida, receiving acceptance into the Landscape Architecture program in the College of Architecture and Planning. In 2005, Justin graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduating, Justin returned to his true home: Tampa, Florida. He accepted a position with Heidt and Associates Inc., within the Land Planning and Landscape Architecture department. In this position, Justin managed all kinds of projects, from zoning to land planning to high-end landscape architecture projects. There was not much going on within the multidisciplinary firm that did not involve his department. He particularly enjoyed managing the construction services contracts, where the landscape and hardscape projects designed by Heidt and Associates Inc. were also managed and inspected in the field. In late 2008, Justin joined ASI Landscape Management and quickly moved into the position of Director of Construction. Since then, the company has grown from one installation crew to eight full-time and two seasonal crews, with various stages of support staff employed to assist in the growth of the division. Today, he is tasked with managing the sales and operations staff within the division to ensure that everyone works cohesively to provide award-winning projects to our clientele.
